Hot spices

Fire Spice is a revaluation of the macerated ingredients of ApothicAri Fire Vinegar. Once our Fire Vinegar is finished, ginger, turmeric, garlic, onions, horseradish, chili peppers, and garden herbs are removed from the vinegar and then dehydrated and ground into a delicious and totally unique spice.

Since ginger and turmeric dominate and the taste of vinegar is still noticeable, Épice de Feu is very reminiscent of curry. This is an excellent way to use it, whether in a Dahl soup, a chicken/tofu curry, or simply to season white rice, roasted vegetables, or even as a dry marinade for meat and white fish.
