A simple, quick, and flavorful stir-fry! Crispy tofu, crunchy vegetables, and an Asian-inspired sauce are enhanced with a touch of Fire Vinegar for a perfect balance of sweetness, acidity, and heat.

Ingredients
For the stir-fry
- 1 block of firm tofu, cut into cubes
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil (or other cooking oil)
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, cut into thin sticks
- 1 small broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (optional)
- ApothicAri Fire Salt, to taste
For the sauce
- 2 tablespoons of ApothicAri Fire Vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
Preparation
- Prepare the sauce: in a bowl, whisk all the sauce ingredients together until smooth. Set aside.
- Cook the tofu: in a large skillet, brown the tofu cubes in oil until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté the vegetables: in the same pan, add a little oil if necessary and sauté the bell pepper, carrot, and broccoli for 4 to 5 minutes, until tender.
- Add the tofu and sauce: pour the sauce over the mixture and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, until it thickens and coats the ingredients well.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
Delicious served over rice or soba noodles!
