Basic marinade

Here is a quick and versatile marinade to season the protein of your choice.

Preparation time: 2 minutes  

Yield: ½ cup 

 

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons Apothicari Fire Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

 

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Add half of the mixture to your raw protein (chicken, beef, pork, tofu, tempeh) and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes and up to 24 hours. 
  3. Cook.
  4. Spread the rest of the marinade over your protein. 
  5. Enjoy!
